RSM supplies PVD fuel cell coatings Sputtering targets

Rich Special Materials(RSM), which develops and markets PVD targets  for fuel cell panels and automotive reflectors. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a technique for producing thin layers of metals and ceramics under vacuum for surface coatings for maximum performance and durability.
Evaporation in PVD can be caused in several ways. The most common method of impact coating is magnetron sputtering, in which the coating material is “blown out” of the target by plasma. All PVD processes are carried out under vacuum.
Thanks to the highly flexible PVD method, the coating thickness can vary from a few atomic layers up to about 10 µm.
RSM has previously supplied coatings targets materials to fuel cell development. Demand and supply are expected to gradually increase in next year as fuel cell production increases.
